Happy New Year

Happy New Year to you and yours!

We welcomed the New Year at our home enjoying turkey and a lovely French champagne given to us as a gift from Michael Elkins and Sean Strache (Keen Information Management (KeenIM) and good friends of Jenn).

It was a lovely way to start our year off - Thank you Michael and Sean for helping us start our year-off in style!

It looks like you missed the worst of the bad weather -- or was that only true for the Colorado leg? I hope you're off to a safe and happy start!!!

Hi Maureen! It was a delayed start, but compared to other travelers, we were very fortunate to leave Colorado and get into Ohio with only a 1.5 hour delay. It has been frigid in Ohio, but the love of our families keep us warm (Awe!) We head out on the road to Florida tomorrow to see Matt's mother and father next. Let the road trip begin!!!

The French do make a marvelous champagne. I may have had some Bollinger with a friend that was from the same batch. Live large and prosper my friends...

Ron, thanks for the supportive comment. You are correct, this champaign was indeed marvelous; it was crisp and smooth with a delightful hint of sophistication fitting the celebratory occasion. ;)
